Green and Black's hot chocolate is lovely. Really smooth with a strong chocolate taste.

Not a Hot Chocolate fan, but girlfriend swears by the Malteasers Hot Chocolate.

Not easy to find.. it's not typically in Dunnes or Tesco but it's in one of our local Centra's.

Cadbury's Highlights is a hot chocolate you just add hot water to and is nice and chocolatey, & only 40 kcals a mug! I love making hot chocolate with cocoa powder, brown sugar, cinnamon and hot milk.. can't beat it old fashioned style:)

    My fiancee loves http://kshocolat.co.uk/default.aspx/Page/1
Its little pellets of belgian choc that you mix with warm milk.

Works well if you use the steam wand on your espresso machine to foam the milk.

    Superquinn used to sell them.
She buys directly from that site now.
Superquinn also sell the Butlers hot choc which comes in second place to that stuff.

I know it's very run-of-the-mill, but I've never strayed from good ole' Cadbury's.

My sister is mad for Options, it comes in sachets or jars and you can get all different flavours, like minty or whatever.

But whatever you do, don't ever use hot water!! Even if you can use hot water with something, it's always better with milk :) Adds to the creaminess...

I seen it in tesco today and was going to pick it up but I was done on the aero one before it was awful so I gave it a miss.

I'll try it the next time.

Cadburys chocolate is annoying because its only 21% Cocoa. There is certainly much better Chocolate out there for making Hot Chocolate.

Try to buy a Hot Chocolate which is lower in Sugar.
