so I'm in the market for a blu-ray player, wifi and mkv playback would also be a plus, not really sure where to begin, been looking at the 5000 series player from philips here but I cant seem to find it online on the likes of say komplett. Havent been to any actual real stores like harvey norman or anything yet

Questions I have are can I wire in the player using the speakers I already have?

Can you buy it as just the player with out speakers if the ones I have are fine?

Should I stick with Philips at all?

And if I order from outside Ireland will I get raped for tax?

Any info or advice or recommendations would be really great!
