    Hello,
We recently changed over to using Freesat and have an MVision HD300 combo Dtt/Freesat STB. The problem is that the EPG is very poor for al the satellite channels, hardly any details show up, and often are the wrong ones, is this normal?

Thats because its not Freesat Fiona. ONLY Freesat branded products have 7 day epg. HD Combo Boxes (such as the Mvision) have now/next for Satelite and 7 day epg for DTT.

When you are on the EPG press okay and it will tell you what is now next (and update with now next). However you will have to do this for each transponder (group of satellite frequencies) in the case of satellite. ITVs are grouped together so pull down now/next for each. If you want Freesat then you will need a Freesat box. But they dont have the tuner for RTE (the DTT part). Thats the only drawback for the Combo boxes the lack of 7 day epg for satellite.

Ah, I see, I'll try as you suggest, thanks for that.
