I'm surprised your Office 2007 trial still works!

You will need to do a full install of Office 2010. Office 2010 will however co-exist with 2007 (at least the beta did) so you wont need to uninstall it first, with the exception of MS Outlook - that means you can alternate between the apps on the same documents/files

Outlook 2010 will replace Outlook 2007 if its detected

Don't forget that openoffice is free

Try it, if you don't like it you always buy one of the many flavours office comes in, from home and student to full blown go on a decent holiday instead price ( which may be cheaper if you buy another product and then upgrade it )

yes you would be be better off uninstalling an old version you will never use again

if you buy office 2010, when you try to isntall it, it should detect office 07, and it updates it for you,. does it all for you.

Office 2010 is actually very good upgrading from previous versions.

And if you end up getting Office 2010, try software4students.ie for the best price. Or if you have UK student friends, its only £38.95 from the UK website.
