    I broke my thumb and I think ill need to get an xray. Can anyone tell me the best place to go?
    Will I be waiting long in a hospital? Any idea how much these things cost? South or west dublin preferable

    just go to your nearest hospital, this is pretty standard stuff and all a&E departments should be similar in terms of expertise for it

    waiting times are unpredictable, depends on how many people are ahead of you and how urgent they are

    Thats what i was thinking, but would it be a whole day event? Which hospitals are quicker in Dublin?

    Around how much does it cost in a hospital (Havent been in years)?

    as i said, it depends how many are ahead of you and the urgency of those cases. no way to predict. its 7 hours since you first posted, you could well have been sorted by now if you had gone then,

    you will have to pay the a&e charge which i think is €100 but after that it will be free

    Ya i think ill do that. Was leaving it a bit hoping it wasnt broken. Ill have to go now i think
