Hi there, I would like to get a gift of a record player for my boyfriend (as well as some of his favourite albums in vinyl). I'd like a retro style one that looks nice but that has good sound as well. Do any of you have any advice of where to get one? Thanks a mill,

First you need to find out if he has an amp/HiFi that will accept a turntable as an input device - turntable = record player - as not all will. The turntable input would usually be labeled 'phono' - short for phonograph.
