If in the unlikely event that the buses aren't running or are seriously delayed and If people are really stuck in the morning there's always the train, they were actually running on time this morning, there's trains leaving dundalk at 7.00/7.10/8.00 all servicing drogheda station.

Just to let people know that Matthews bus has a facebook page and they have been brilliant at keeping it updated about any changes to the routes during this weather. They're also fairly on the ball with responding to any questions people are posting on their wall. It's been a brilliant way to keep track of the service.

(didnt want to start a new thread)

The bus passes through Georges ST every half hour it seems, will it pick up on the North Road(going to Dundalk) outside the garage?

Yes, there's a stop there at the Fiat garage (where McCabe's Toyota showroom used to be) and you can get buses in both directions. It's half-hourly only at peak times though.
