Just wondering what everyone thought of the show this weekend?
Was the move to Citywest a good idea? How much did you pay for your tickets?I believe they were giving them away free in Citywest just to get people in.
I thought i did well to get them for €92 for two.

I made a point of not going.
Although it was more accurately advertised this time as a festival than a live show, I was sorely disappointed for my money the last time around.

For a good bit less I went to the Festival of Speed in Goodwood this year. That was world-class. As I parked my car amongst Ferraris, Bentley, Lambos, Astons, Porsches etc (yes, they had parking; and that was just the pleb carpark) I was watching the red arrows perform a routine overhead. High speed runs up a hill. Interactive exhibits. Running commentary. Test drives. Fantastic stuff.

Back on-topic - I am interested to know how it was! Especially from anyone who was at a previous event.

Traffic getting into it was mental, 1hr 30 to get from the off ramp to the place. The traffic at silverstone moved faster, was very badly organised, I have gone to it a few time and always enjoyed it but it was awful this year, Going to Geneva instead next year

We got there early and got the 12pm show, enjoyed it, all aspects rehearsed but still enjoyed it.
Some lovely cars and good to see them in the flesh.

Was cold outside watching the various shows, hard for them to get any grip.

Only gripe was the cost of getting a cuppa, cost me near 20 euro for 4 coffees and 4 mars bars, a bit Irish! ;)

I probably wouldn't go again though, see it once and that will do it. Massive crowds though.

Went with my son, who by the way was gob smacked with nearly everything, so result there. To be honest a little over priced and the parking was a joke, if it remains in City West the Luas extension does seem like a good idea, would help with traffic. Would I go again next year?

Not sure, would probably save up for British GP.

I went to yesterdays 6 pm show, got a suprise of a ticket from my missus who picked up a deal from Pigsback, €39 ticket ! And when I picked up my ticket the Guy gave me two by mistake so I gave it to a guy and his kid who were only going to go to the Exhibition as they couldnt afford the live show as well :).
All in all there was more to see outside of the Live show this year than last which was good but I have to agree with a lot of others that it is a lot of the same each year.
I am gonna give it a miss next year and head to the motorshow instead, maybe 2012 ???

What a friend of mine complained about was that no tickets where sent out in the post, so all tickets had to be issued there on the spot and only one printer there to do it.
Apparently some people had to wait an hour and a half in line.

My sister's boyfriend works on the citywest business campus so got two free tickets to go around the hall/paddock to view the cars on display and while we were there we found out that for €20 we could upgrade our tickets and go into the live show. Which unfortunately we did! And we were 20 mins late going in at this stage but had no hassle going in.

T'was pretty poor, same sh!te stunts as last time and everything the three lads said was scripted.

    I went saturday, was dissappointed...
Was hoping they'd give the supercars some welly...even rev them!!!

I was at gooodwood 2 years ago...if your into cars you have to go.
The carpark alone was worth the journey!!
