Currys tvs

    Got a flyer in my newspaper (in Galway) last week from Currys. It lists 15 different TVs, some described as full HD, others HD ready and 1 described as Mpeg4 Irish digital ready. Surely any new tv sold in the 26 counties from now on that cannot receive Irish digital is not 'fit for purpose'

    got the same flyer, all the over 22 inch TVs are fine, some of the smaller ones are not.

    Thread on that very subject running here, see the last post.

    However they are not atypical, no retailer is selling nothing but compliant gear and that flyer was legal.....just about. Note the deals expire 8 december.
