Has anyone managed to pick up SaorView in Rush? I tried years ago to pick up UTV form the North but loughshinny was in the way because its higher than my estate and it was blocking the signal
    .
Has anybody had any joy? If yes what are you using for an aerial?

Saorview has nothing to do with the north. If you have a suitable tv or STB, try channel 54 which is used by the Three Rock & Kippure transmitters.

I am picking it with no problem in Clifflands.

I have a roof aerial pointing at 3 Rock.

Is it shop bought DIY or was it installed?

I've a wideband grid aerial in the attic pointing at the mountains and it's getting 90% signal strength from 3Rock/Kippure (both on the same channel so dunno which one)

that's through the jack wall and the neighbours gable wall too.

I'm in Lusk, but I doubt there's any hill in the way between here and Rush.

I get the 4 irish channels and 3e and rte news. and a heap of rte radio stations.
