Meteor phone as Modem for laptop

only data.mymeteor.ie works as apn at least broadband.mymeteor.ie doesn't work. does MS VPN pptp work? or is that apn using a transparent proxy? browsing & email on Laptop via bluetooth via phone 3G on Meteor works.

Browsing & email *IS* working

but MS VPN won't connect (PPTP type). It finds the server and times out.
