hi all, due to recent weather the main water feed into my house is frozen and so the water tank in the attic has run dry. no kitchen and bathroom taps, no toilet, shower, washing machine nothing!!!! i have oil heating in the house and i am unsure as to whether or not i can turn it on. outside i have an oil tank and beside it is the burner. pipes run into the house and to the copper tank and onto the rads witch are just normal standard rads.
    any help would be appreciated!!

    thanks in advance!!!

it should be ok as most central heating systems are independent of mains water system

if you have a small header tank in the loft check if the water in it is frozen and if it is break the ice but yes using your heating shouldnt be a problem
