    Yes i'm a utter eejit.:D

Spilt coffee on the modem, no phone and no internet. Have the hair-dryer on it at the moment. What can i do? Should i phone them, and will i have to pay for a replacement?

    Quick reply would be appriciated!

Edit: Some random lights come on, but nothing stays static for more than 10-20 seconds

Don't spill any coffee on the dryer.:D

I doubt that will do any good.

Edit plug it out unless you want a fire.
You need to ring UPC and as you did it they will probably charge you 50 euro for the call-out.

Should i just say the modems not working? Or is there a moisture sensor in there!

Im guessing they will figure out the problem when they inspect it and find it smells like Nescafe :p

Ring them now on 1908 they are pretty good despite what some people say.

Bad idea if you ask me. At the end of the day its electronics, just cause it's working doesn't mean its not gonna start a fire.

Whatever about reusing a phone you accidentally put in the wash - that's a relatievly small thing with a limited power supply. A cable modem is much larger, and connected to the mains.
