I have 17 205 40 alloys on my Nissan Almera 1.5. I have been driving on bad roads recently, lots potholes. Need new tyres but dont want to buy tyres if the alloys are buckled. Is there anyway of finding out if they are buckled? Would a garage do this, anyone know how much that cost??

Also looking on Camskill found these Kumho tyres http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php?plid=m54b0s13p6376
I would love to buy the main brand tyres but im a student and just cant afford them.
How much would it cost to get them fitted? Im in the Dublin 15 area.

It'll cost you 15 euro per tyre to get them fitted. I live in Galway and that's what it cost me last week.

As a student saving money, how about preused/part worn tyres? They are sold with like 5mm+ thread on them, some have a lot more, none less. Min thread depth legally allowed in Ireland is 1.6mm.
Something like EUR50 including fitting a tyre, your choice of brand names at Auto Depot in Tallaght. I would much prefer Brand names used than low end or crap brand new myself.

In this weather a good new brand tyre is probably a better idea than used (new thread = better grip) but if you're short on cash look at donedeal.ie and adverts.ie and similar sites for cars breaking. You can get good tyres cheap that way.

Would new Kumhos not be the best option for the car im driving? Not like its a 2L turbo??
    Thanks for the suggestions.
