Is periodontitis reversible?

    I have been battling with gum disease for a while now,but my gums are getting worse..

    The gap between my front teeth is bigger and im afraid my teeth are gonna fall out,i was at the dentist 2months ago for a clean but he didnt say too much about it just to keep flossing,mouthwash etc.

    The gap between my teeth has definately got bigger since then..im ringing my dentist first thing in the morning...im just wondering how treatable is periodontitis and is it expensive?

    is this covered on vhi?

    Hi, Have you been told you have periodontitis (gum disease), if you do I suggest you see a periodontist. Ask the dentist for a referral. It may not cheap for treatment but an exam is inexpensive.

    i was at the dentist last tuesday and he is refering me to a periodontist..

    im still waiting to hear back from them and i feel like my gum is disappearing more everyday,starting to get really worried as it is my front teeth..
