Hi, a friends laptop has this error on one of the user accounts, it had the "Security Tool" rogue anti-spyware program on it which I removed with Malwarebytes, but it seems to have take the correct file paths/associations with it, none of the .exes will run on this user account (the other account is ok), via Run command Run As command or any other way I think of.
I managed to get CCCleaner running and performed a registry fix but it didn't have any effect.
Should I just backup the documents on it, delete the account and make a new one? Or is there a way to restore the paths etc?
It's Windows XP with SP3, thanks.
