Help re: black ops controls?

Hi guys, I bought black ops yesterday and was happily playing away for a few hours. I turned the PS3 off and came back a couple of hours later to play again and the controls for the game had changed.
ie my right analog stick which usually looks up/down was working the opposite (when i push the stick down it looks up and when i press upp it looks down)
Any one know what happened here? I cant find anything in the options to change it back.

never happened to me but im pretty sure that it can be changed in the pause menu

When I bring up options in the pause menu it says that the default control settings should be up is down and down is up!!
Ive never played cod like this before and am finding it impossible to get used to!

Theres another option to "invert" controls, which switches. Could be on the main menu options?

ya theres also the option to do it as you start the single player game. it asks you would you like to invert the controls after a min or two. try that
