Is there a case be to made for buying in some expertise for the negotiations we are currently in with the IMF / EU ? Delay everything for a week.

I'd have no problem paying a few million for US or external consultants to face these IMF / EU guys down.

I find it hard to have faith in our mob protecting our interests properly.

A decade???? A century would be closer to the mark.

As regards the negotiations, even some FF'ers are now admitting they don't have the expertise/ability to negotiate a good deal for Ireland:

    Breaking news ...

Brussels confirms deal is complete .

    Op
A decade ? You will be lucky .
Even if we draw down half the €85 billion (42billion) and at the best available rates (Germany 2%)

You do the scary math ..

So taking €42 billion @2% / 2.2 millionwork force (max)

That's a shoite load of years repayments , and the figures/rates above we have no chance of getting .
