    Hey all,
My trusty GHD has died after 5 years, and I'm just wondering does anyone know where the cheapest place to buy another one is? any websites etc?
I really don't want to buy a different brand cos I really think the GHD's are the best!

I bought it about two weeks ago from amazon for £85 plus shipping. Gone up a little bit now.

i think this price is just for the plain black ones, the coloured ones are usually more expensive!

Hey all, thanks for your replies! I will check Peter Marks, and maybe the web site mentioned here. I wonder actually if Peter Marks are doing same kinda scrappage offer as last year, where if you gave in an old/broken one you got some money off a new one....

On a side note, has anyone used the thicker GHD? just wondering if they would recommend them, Id have fairly thick hair, not massively though, but if I thought it would do the job quicker I would get it!

i've used both but i prefer the normal one as you get more control with it and you can create flicks and curls. i have very thick hair and i find the thin one gives a slilkier appearance. whenever i'm at the hairdressers they always use the thin ones:) yea i know they gave 15 euro of last year but that offer might be gone...

yes it's definitely fake, prices are way too good to be true and has some ghd's that i've never seen before! if in doubt check if the website is real using this link to the official ghd website http://www.ghdhair.com/ie/beware-imitations/website-checker
