three mobile broadband, data usage checker

    Hi all,

    I just signed up for a years contract the three mobile bb after being left with no options since I am apparently living in one of those wonderful little areas where broadband is scarce and options are either very expensive or very crappy. I chose the latter and went with three. I've signed up for a 15GB allowance which I know I will easily go over as I am a very heavy internet user and at my old house I had unlimited. I really don't want to have to pay the rediculous per mb fees which they tack on if you happen to go over your allowance. I've checked on threes website and I wasn't able to find a way that I could check my usage, i.e. how much I've used or how much I have left. Is there a way to do this?

    Go to three.ie . Click login to my 3 and then check my balance

    The old way of checking does not seem to work for me anymore, is there a new way?

    The old way now asks for a mobile number + password... which I do not have

    You need to rigister for your My3 account if it's asking you to log in

    But I do not have a phone number to register... I have the sim info, but I do not have a phone number (at least none that I know off).

    It used to take me straight to the info beforehand, and knew who I was based solely on the modem I had plug in.

    If it already knew who I was already without entering any info. Why change that?

    *shakes fist at three*

    edit - I just checked in Firefox, and it takes me to my old page with the usage info. It seems all my "you must log in" problems are related to using Chrome :/

    The sim would have a 083 number attached to it. If you still have the sim pack it'll be on that. If not you'll have th give their customer care dept a call. Give them the serial number on the back of the sim and they'll give it to you.
