Is there such a machine that you can get for your house that makes coffee or cappuccino the same way you can get it in the filling stations at the touch of a button?
Also wondering can you get Tim Hortons coffee to buy for your own use,I can only see this in the Corrib Oil filling stations down here in the west and personally I think it's the best of all the coffees I have tasted from filling stations over the years.

Sounds like the type of machine you are after is the bean-to-cup type. Obviously there are many different brands available but I noticed two in Harvey Norman today that I thought were good value. Details here and here

Both do one touch coffee, example here while the second one is closer to a one-touch cappuccino. That said the first one is excellent value and I reckon there wouldn't be that much more involved in making a cappuccino with it.

The first one makes Espresso and the second one makes cappuccino,if I'm reading it correctly.
I never had an espresso before so I'll have to try one tomorrow to see what the difference is like.

Both machines make espressos and cappuccinos, which is just frothed milk added to an espresso. One uses a wand (panarello) to froth the milk in a jug while the more expensive one froths the milk automatically taking it from the jug. Might be worth getting a demo of a few different types of coffee machine and see what suits you best. Good luck with your search. If you have any questions there are lots of people on here willing to help.

Them bean to cup machines are quite expensive:eek:

I think the Tassimo range is good if you aren't too much of a coffee snob and just want a quick cappuccino/latte/hot chocolate. They are made using individual capsules you can buy in the major supermarkets like tesco. http://www.tassimo.co.uk/discover/t-disc-varieties/891

I have a nespresso machine myself which produces really tasty espressos (as good as you'd get in a restaurant after your meal). Machines start at about 100 euro. You can use the milk frother wand on the machine to make cappuccinos etc. The capsules (loads of flavours and strengths to choose from) have to be bought either in selected shops (Brown Thomas) or else online. Works out at 35c - 40c a capsule so still alot cheaper that your average forecourt coffee.
