Failed CAP 2 - now what?

    Got let go from my training contract this week for getting credits in my CAP 2's anybody else been in this position last year and if so managed to secure a training contract with another firm???

    You should look at going into industry and register for ACCA immediatly. It is really unlikely you will get an ACA firm to take you on in the medium term given the way things are.

    failed two, nah not really interested in changing exams wanna keep going at these. Not looking for big four or anything I know I'd never have a hope of that, maybe a small practice you're prob right tho it's a bit of a long shot.

    Have a think about the ACCA as you get exemptions and can start the exams straight away plus it would be much easier to find work in Industry within a reasonable timeframe than a CA practice.

    yo - didnt even listen to the woman on the phone calling out my sfma result because i knew id failed it. turns out i got 47 in it ffs!!

    take it i cant now resit the continuous assessment? got 11 out of 20 in it. kind if wish i had of resat it now lol. ah well - getting closer...

    how much does it cost to appeal an exam? is it worth appealing 46%?

    it's 450 quid as far as a i know, bit steep like. Got 46 in audit considered appealing but realistically i can't see the mark being changed. Just a money racket really.
