We dog ( Russet, ie half JRT half Basset) is under the stairs in the dark cupboard there.

She insisted and has been there all day long,, clearly the scent hound in her knows that "something" is in there and the terrier in her makes her hunt it.

The landlord was asking ( very rural area) if we wanted them to put poison down in pipes,, he knew we would say no of course and we assured him that we have two good dogs and two good cats.

wee dog's perserverance is awesome; she will emerge to go pee than back in she goes so her blanket is there now.

So cold out there that who can blame a wee mouse for trying to get in.

    The dog or the mouse?

Ah she gave up finally and managed to sneak up on the settee while collie was sleeping. Collie will not share the settee. Collie woke and all hell let loose so collie slept in the hall and wee dog got the settee.

Wee dog has caught mice at very house we have lived in.

2 of our Jacks are brilliant like that. As soon as they are aware of any visitors they camp out where they can hear them until they manage to see them off.
It is one of the few times they work together as a team. The bigger one chases them towards Jazz and she then ensures they won't be able to annoy them anymore :D

Nice one! yes it is the Jack in her.

A new hole has appeared in the wall of the adjoining room... Wee dog has been patrolling all the night long... Will also set mouse traps tonight....
