Ok, I know the S stands for Samantha but seriously, all I could think after sitting through this un needed DTV sequel was Stupid Darko, Stupid Stupid Stupid.
This whole movie is pretensios and stupid. It's a boring cash in sequel that should never of happened. Did Donnie Darko really need a sequel? No it didn't.Ugh, thismovie just annoyed me.

The keywords were "DTV".. what were you expecting?

    There's a reason it went direct-to-video.

Just like the first one then :pac:

proof positive that a badly edited mess can make a movie seem like genius when it just meant the director didnt have a clue what he was doing, as seen in his subsequent trainwrecks

That's the first thing I thought, the ban hammer was unholsteted :pac:

But I will never watch this film, ever. By all accounts, it sounds like watching a pile of dog crap for an hour would be more intellectually stimulating.

Surely statues in the op honour would be more appropriate?

S Darko looks dire but even with the terrible reviews part of me wants to watch it

    Yeah .. I don't like Darko either.
    :pac:

I'd love to have seen the boardroom meeting where someone decided it would be a good idea to make a sequel out of Donnie Darko.

Am I right in thinking that no one with any connection to Donnie Darko had any input into the 'sequel'?

It stars the same girl who plays Samantha in both Darko movies.
