Where can I get a budget HTPC box?

    Hi,

I used to have a Mac Mini running Plex which I was very happy with but since had to sell. I am now back to using my Xbox for my media which works fine but it's just not the same as Plex (no content scraping, apps etc).

I'd like a HTPC running XMBC, Boxee or even Windows that can:

    - be controlled with a Logitech remote/iPhone app.
    - has small form factor akin to the mac mini
    - it has to be quiet (the xbox is LOUD)
    - is capable of streaming full HD over a wireless N network from my Mac upstairs
    - I am not bothered about DVR or Blu-ray as I download all my media
    - A 160GB+ HDD would be nice
    - I also want HDMI and optical audio out for 5.1

I can't afford more than EUR250. I had a look at the Dell Zino; it looks good but it's nearly EUR400. I also looked at the Boxee box but it's too new and has too many bugs at the moment plus Ireland doesn't have access to have of its apps (unless through a paid-for VPN.

Can someone here recommend where I could buy such a box?

    Thanks

I'd suggest the second hand route on adverts.ie, these come up from time to time with folk upgrading, this one went a few months back, bit out of your price spec but worth it
