Iphone Error 1002. Help??!!

    Just wondering if anyone out there can help me.

    I have iphone 3gs with latest update and itunes latest.

    My iphone crashed yesterday giving me the image of connect to itunes.

    I did that and hit reinstall only to get real close to the end.....where it hangs and the error 1002 comes up.

    So I have no iphone at the min. Any ideas about how to get back to life again would be most appreciated.

    I've tried downloading the software tiny umbrella but cant open the download.

    I have a macbook and you may guess that I'm not majorilly techy but can follow instructions!

    Is the iPhone jailbroke? Open tiny umbrella then connect the iPhone to the mac then it should say recent device or device in recovery click that and then click kick out of recovery.

    How do I open tinyumbrella?

    Its there as a download but nothing happens when I try to open it.

    On the mac top right corner search type tiny umbrell in the drop down menu double click on it. Should open. If download it again from tiny umbrella.com no where else is the phone jailbroke?

    Phone not Jailbroken. Its factory unlocked....not affiliated to any carrier.

    Still cant open tiny umbrella.

    Stuck?

    Remove it from the hdd reinstall. What happened when you connect the phone to iTunes? If nothing put the phone into dfu mode hold power button for 5 seconds then hold power and home for 10 then let go of the power button keep a hold on home button till phone flashes.

    Falling all that download limera1n hit make it rain and follow the on screen instructions.

    Thanks fox007. Tried all that. At least I could download and run Limera1n, but it could'nt fix it.

    Think its fecked. Might try and bring it to a place in Gway tmrw.

    Any other ideas out there?
