Mac Pro noise levels

I'm considering buying a single-processor quad-core mac pro, and was wondering what the noise levels are like. Anecdotally they seem to be quiet enough, but at idle would they be much louder than say an iMac or a normal Dell PC in a bedroom?

Use to have an iMac, now have the current quad Pro. It runs at the same noise level, if not less than the iMac, and the pro is so unbelievably cooler (temp) than the iMac it's incredible!
