Lightning strike

    Hi. Sorry if this is the wrong section for this.

    Got up this morning and neither my TV or NTL box will switch on with the storms last night I'm guessing we got a lightning strike. so two questions
    Is there anyway to check if I am right?
    and
    If I am right will the damage be repairable or will they need replacing?
