    Well lads,

Had to bring my car battery to get charged last night and was left charging for 24hours. Put the battery back in and the car wont start but aint to sure if its cause of the immobilizer from the alarm or i just need a new battery. Is there a way to reset alarms so i can find out which it is?????

    Any other suggestions helpful to.

Can you start the car with jump leads from another? It'll tell help in diagnosing the problem. This weather plays havoc with any battery nearing the end of it's useful life. Good luck.

Wont work, battery is required for the car to remain running.

Works perfect, at least he will find out is that the battery problem.

I wouldnt be surprised if the battery is dead now, plenty cold nights we had and i believe the battery isnt new on that old car.

Forget the boot batteries so if they're blowin your mind re using them, get your prelude out off the driveway or wherever you can get near a running car. Jump them together, wait a while with all electrics off in the prelude and that includes rear window heaters, radio, fan, etc, then key the prelude and tell us what happens then, nothing? a half turn? a click from a relay somewhere? fast turnover but no fire?
