Thanks, interesting, I had seen that site but wondered how up to date it is.It was made in 1995, so surely due to events and history and stuff some cards that maybe were once not of interest could be now?

was trying to find info about cards a while back myself but hit a deadend!

The piero tintori website is old and not updated to the best of my knowledge!

If you google him it looks like he works for TERMINALFOUR ,
so i'd reckon hes not into call cards anymore

Some one to buy them :D;)
There is not as much value as there was in both mint and used cards.
Have being looking for some sort of pricing but to no avail.
Guessing some of the trial cards and private cards might be worth looking for.
Put them on adverts and you'll soon know there value.

Nope, I would not consider them so.

is a card more valuable if it has credit on it or does it matter?

Ones that are unused (mint) are of more value and are often wrapped. However the demand for them doesn't seem big at the moment. :o

The Gift-Can't make it out but the one with horses on it, does it say horse racing in Ireland or Irish Horse Racing. If it's the former then it was the mid 90's a very valuable card as horse racing in Ireland was a mistake and only a few hundred cards had this variation.

Also cards with 100 units tended to be rarer as they sold less and were cosidered more valuable at the time (mid 90's). Hope this helps.

I'm really not sure if there is still a market for them but I may be wrong.

What's the reason for being reasonable?

    Is that an unreasonable question?

AFAIK....Only real rare cards are the ones that were issued in test phase when they were deciding on what type of card to use. But even then I dont think there is any big money in them anymore as there are not many collectors around.

Edit: I do actually have one of these cards as well. Its the night time view of the half penny bridge over the liffey. Listed in Piero Tintori's catelogue as being worth around 125 punt but I doubt it would be worth as much now due to the decline in collectors.

Also have the Communications 93 one in the original holder which was given out to the people at the conference which I would think would be very rare.

No comments on your advert, did you actually sell them? I have a fairly decent collection, some in wrappers. Were all of yours MINT in wrappers?

    Thanks

Oooops, no harm done! I am back collecting again after finding my collection in my mam's house. Went to the first ever Callcard fair back in 1993 when I was 14. Anyone in here who still actively collects them?

    Thanks
