Alright lads, I'll get straight to the point...

I'm 21 and my facial hair is pretty poor (and odd)

First of all the hair is quite soft and seems to stand up, rather than lay down along the skin...I think the latter is the normal one.

Secondly the colour varies completely, naturally I have brown hair, but my facial hair ranges from brown, blonde and even ginger:confused:.

I've noticed this with a few lads around my age so I'm assuming this is normal?
Does all it take is time, constant shaving and eventually it'll fill out, strenghten and darken?

Every Movember is NOvember for me:D

    Any info appreciated!!!:)

Facial hair that's a different colour from your head hair isn't unusual. My hair is dark brown, almost black, but if I grow out a beard it's brown and ginger with patches of grey.

same here, I've black hair but my beard will have plenty of gray in it, creating that dark mysterious look of course :D

Don't fret OP, we're all different, when I was 21 I wish I had less facial hair to shave, shaving can be a right pain in the neck, literally.

like many things, time will sort it out.

The "shaving makes it grow back coarser and darker" is a myth, its basically a waiting game. Be glad of it while it lasts man, i'm only 20 and i get a 5 o'clock shadow around lunchtime!
