Maybe a stupid question, but after reading the back of yesterdays Star newspaper and seeing Kenny Egan doing the business over in America in some sort of boxing series, how do you guys feel he would fair in the ring with David Haye, I know it will never happen but do you guys think he would be totally outclassed and get K.O'd or do yous think he would give him a run for his money??

He certainly would not be outclassed but he would probably get KO'd after a few rounds.

Egan vs Haye in a competitive bout?

If such a thing could happen with the weight difference being ignored by the relevent authorities etc., it would be a very short "fight" as Egan would be badly outmatched from the get go. Egan would be KO'd early doors.

Paul, what makes you think he lasts a few rds? Reading this it appears as if you think Egan can last a while, and THEN get Ko'd? So, don't you think that
Haye could land a few flush shots within the first couple of minutes? I really don't believe that Haye needs accumulation and rds to
    do the trick here.

Haye is bigger (210-220lbs, and muscle and power that is), and hits very hard. I say the second Haye lands clean, which, lets be honest, could be after ten seconds, then Egan is gone.

I don't see Egan AVOIDING Haye here. That is his only hope of going a few rds. What will he do? Run? Hold like mad?
The second Egan stands to throw, trade and engage, could see him taken out.

Ye he would probably (actually thats generous, I should say possibly) land more than one punch, that's the only way he'd do better, Egan would be completely destroyed, fight would be over as soon as Haye makes the decision to go at him

If Marty wore a translucent gumsheild he could blind Jimmy with his bleached white teeth and combined with the TV lighting the glare offa Marty's napper would dazzle in the eyes of the old and already somewhat confused Magee, allowing Morrissey to cut the distance and do his best work on the inside.

    Morrissey UD or late stoppage.
