    Spurs V Liverpool

Looks a cracking match on paper and IMO, a few markets very much over priced in this one. Over 2.5 goals, I'd estimate at about 1.7 fair odds but is generally on offer around the evens mark. Torres is still 15/8 with SJ to get on the scoresheet and 12/1 with PP for the brace. I'm looking at Spurs' high line as something Torres can exploit although there's no Gerrard to supply the through balls (Meireles and Cole may step up and feed the ammo). Seems to up his game for the bigger matches.

    More Tips for anyone interested

Simple logic here. Glen Johnson and Konchesky to be booked look good to me. Up against Bale and Lennon, you'd have to fancy one if not both to be booked.

Also the game after midweek in the CL Spurs have looked lackluster in the past.
I really can't see us winning the match, mainly down to tactics but a draw could be worth a look at. I agree with VS on Torres anytime too.

In the Man U game, when Rooney scores one or two he usually goes on a hot streak. I'm sure that goal would have given him a lot of confidence and he'll be buzzing come KO vs Blackburn. Not great odds(on PP) as you'd expect but I fancy him to grab a goal on Saturday.

    ____

2 others bets that look interesting are Stoke vs Man City and West Ham vs Wigan. Stoke are more than capable at home as we all know and @ 23/10 + Wigan to win @ 11/4, both catch the eye... especially the latter. Couldn't believe how bad West Ham were vs Liverpool, astonishingly poor.

Wigan have won 1 game away this callander year, against Spurs oddly enough.

I know Mike. But West Ham are utter muck *we have finally seen a team worse than us this season* :pac: If I were betting on the EPL anymore, I'd be betting against West Ham till Grant get the sack as they're going nowhere.

I've seen a couple of Wigan's away matches and they have been unlucky. Newcastle springs to mind and I think the other one was Blackburn last month. Played well in both games, in the Newcastle game they were actually 2 up.. up until midway of the 2nd half. But sloppy errors earned them only a point.

Excluding Piquionne who has been a decent signing and Parker(who I'm unsure if he will start) they are desperately average and that's being massively kind.

I'm finding picking the winners of a match very difficult this season so just gonna concentrate on overs/unders.

Going over 2.5 goals in the Wolves v Sunderland game @ 6-5. Wolves concede in every game and seem to score in most. Sunderland are scoring recently too so much rather this rather than trying to pick the winner.

The overs in the Bolton v Blackpool appeal but pretty short @ 4-6. Still should be over 2.5 here.

Elmander and/or Davis to get on the scoresheet is another one to look at too.

I really fancy Bolton heavily to win tomorrow, in form and playing some lovely football under Coyle that works to Elamanders strengths especially.

Looking at Matt Jarvis AT @ 4/1 and Insurebet @ 9/1 tomorrow.. Wolves I expect will hit the ground running at home v Sunderland tomorrow.

Jarvis has been in fine form for McCarthy's side and is probably their best attacker atm (not saying much I suppose:pac:). But with Sunderland's defensive problems, Wolves (who in fairness have been unlucky of late) could cause an upset tomorrow for the win @ 13/8.

Wouldn't read too much into that game fella. We've always been absolutely muck against Liverpool and we were missing Parker. Haven't won in Anfield since the 60's, just one of those teams. We've actually been playing alright in some games this year, in particular at home. Parker being back is massive for us.

Stephen Warnock - 7 bookings in last 11 Prem games.

    13/5 on PP

Also I believe Rodallega is suspended after being sent off last week, so they will be missing their biggest goal threat outside of Nzogbia

    What a very strange league.

Sunderland winning despite a host of injuries.
Blackpool winning away to in form Bolton.
West Brom winning away to Everton
Allardyce bending over for his pal :p

So glad I've betting on the EPL up :D

    EDIT - 4-1 to WBA

I like Liverpool DNB. Tottenhams form after CL games is bad enough and VC are 7/4 DNB with Liverpool. Very reasonable price if you asked me. Thoughts?

I am backing over 2.5 and Torres anytime

Just a heads up on my comments previously about Johnson and Konchesky being booked, 13/5 and 16/5 respectively.

    Not bad.

I missed out on Kaboul wincast midweek @ 17/2. 12/1 for the wincast today. I hope I'm wrong but I hear it's Skrtel and Carragher at the back, from set pieces and general crossing Spurs will have a lot of joy if that is our CB pairing come KO.

This match is really tempting me but I'll stand my guard and tell my brother(Spurs fan) to put his money on it :pac:

Going over 2.5 goals in the Newcastle-Chelsea game @ 10-11. Newcastle without their regular centre-halves so Sol Campbell will play and Chelsea without Terry. Both open to concede so over 2.5 is the call.

I was thinking of a +1.5 double given the holes in the defences of Newcastle and Chelsea
that should be easy while Spurs "bucaneering" approach should mean a pretty open game later.

    1st bets in a while on... 10.00 Torres Insurebet @ 4/1 and 5.00 'Pool win @ 13/5... not biased at all:pac:
Maybe the Pool win mite be a long shot but Torres has a good record against Spurs and I reckon hel open the scoring today;)
