Indie/Alt: Any interest?

    Hi,

    I'm looking for someone to jam with, write songs with or collaborate musically.

    I play rhythm guitar and I have some experience of writing with people, aswell as studios and a little bit of publishing.

    Music I'm into: 60s rock - Hollies, Beach Boys, Stones, Moody Blues etc. Folk and folk rock groups like CSN, Everley Bros. Old rock and roll (Elvis) and some blues too. "Indie" is what I like at the moment. The last CD I bought was The Villagers and I might be tempted to buy My Chemical Romance's latest becasue of all the hype and publicity but Belle and Sebastian's new album will probably be next.

    Music I dont like: U2 and Kings of Leon etc.

    I want to make music for the fun of it and see what happens. Having been involved with a good group which has had small successes over the years I can see how impossible it is to make it, so my focus is really on making music for it's own sake and to have a good time.

    Any way, I'm 20s, male, Sth. Dublin, have wheels. If anyone is interested get in touch!

    hey im looking to start a band aswell.

    I have been in several bands in the past playing different instruments most noticeable bass.

    Im looking to the lead singer in the next project I take on.
    So far ive been doing backing vocals in all the bands ive been in.

    I have loads of ideas and lyrics

    Genre wise I would be looking for people who want to
    do something a little dark, kinda somber

    my influences would be thursday, alkaline trio, senses fail, mcr, death cab for cutie etc.

    Hullo,

    um i play guitar, piano and ukulele( that totaly counts-_-) and i write silly little songs and iv recorded a few of them before.

    I adore the everly brothers, beach boys, the kinks, buddy holly, blondie, radiohead, bombay bicycle club, joy division and a whole load more Im not botherd listing.

    So, im an 18 year old girl currently living in north dublin, so if you want to 'jam' or whatever let me know :)
