The EU powers that be are now contemplating burning bondholders in future.

We are surely due a refund on out €55 billion payment to bondholders in September 2010.

But then again these bonds were mainly held by German and French entities...

By refund I mean a free EU subvention for having done our master's bidding when they are now changing the rules.

I spent 8 years working for a German multi-national and found they had a policy of testing products in small markets like Ireland and Venezuela before launching into wider markets. I believe they sold these products at a discount to get the contracts but the purchasers didn't realise they were part of a controlled test.
