Musician as a 2nd Job

    Hi All,

I'm currently working full time and also playing with a band almost full time. I want to register as a self employed musician but can anyone tell me what the process is when you already have a full time job.

I understand you'd register as a sole trader if the first job already didn't exist but is it the same

    Thanks

yes. You are basically self employed as a musician that way, but you can still hold a normal job as well. theres no law against being an employee for one person but also being a sole trader as well.
