iphone 3GS acting up....

    iphone has been acting up since Wednesday night. It keeps timing out on email and won't update the likes of twitter, facebook etc.

    Have tried updating to the latest software and also did a full restore via the laptop but no joy :mad:

    Anyone suggest what could be wrong with it?

    Sounds like a network problem. What network are ya with and have ya got the correct settings

    With vodafone - haven't changed any settings that I know of....

    there could be a problem on vodafones end, have ya tried resetting network settings
    failing that call vodafone

    I've been having a similar problem since i updated software to 4.2.1 .
    Happening when using wifi too , i have to shut down phone and switch back on to get it connecting again .

    Got it sorted in the end. Vodafone updated some settings from their side and it was fine when I restarted the phone...
