Trouble with Hotmail settings for iphone with o2

Hi,

Had it working fine til about 5 days ago

dont think i adjusted settings

But can anyone tell me how to have it set - I dont understand all this pop3 stuff n all that!

I'm with 3 and the exact same thing happened to me. Cant get my mail working any more. if anyone knows what to do i'd be forever in their debt. Ta

My gf has the exact same problem shes with meteor. I tried deleting the mail account from the phone and re doing it but still won't work. It keeps saying something wrong with pop3 or something??

Delete the accoun and set it up again but select Microsoft exchange. For description and email use the full email address then enter ur password. Tap next
Server is m.hotmail.com
Tap save and sync contacts and calendars if ya want

Tried that thanks but message came up:

Exchange Account

Unable to Verify account information

I honestly don't think I have heard of anyone successfully getting Hotmail using any combination of their settings. Utter POS of a service.

your entering something wrong then, i have both hotmail and gmail exchange working perfect on my iphone 4, both accounts push email aswell so no need to have fetch turned on

Spot on Guil, I followed your instructions during the week and got it working again. It did take a couple of attempts though.
Interestingly, it had also stopped working on my mac, but suddenly started working again this evening.

Works perfectly for me. Both Hotmail and Gmail!!!
