    A priest was broken down on the side of the road one day, when one of men from his parish stopped to help him. The man was driving a newish Merc, and offered the priest a lift to the nearest garage.

    On the way the priest noticed the mercedes emblem on the front of the long bonnet, and asked the man about it. The man said that it was an aiming device, and offered to demonstrate.

    "See that cyclist there? I'll use the badge to get myself perfectly lined up to hit her"

    At the last second the man swerved to avoid the cyclist, going "Damn, missed" under his breath for the benefit of the priest.

    "That's OK", replied the priest; "I got her with the door!"
