quick question about htc desire cases

    quick question about cases/skins for htc desire - got my new phone yesterday and i'm looking to get some protection for it.

    if i put a skin style cover on it, will it fit into one of those leather flip covers without taking off the skin first? been trawling but can't find a definite answer.

    also, been looking for a coloured book style leather case but can't find anything for less that £60 which is more than i paid for the phone!! any recomendations greatly received!:)

    the leather flip type cases are very snug so i doubt that a skin would fit also. mind you it might be overkill, the basic flip case i have does a great job.

    yeah, you may be right about the overkill. it basically stems from my laziness - i was thinking of using the skin cover round the house and then just slipping the whole thing skin and all into the leather cover when i'm out and about... [does that sound durtee?!] i thought if i was taking the skin on and off again then after a while it might get saggy.... :p

    Dont get me wrong.its a phone that needs good protection. I have dropped mine when I was out walking.on gravel. I think it had a better chance in the leather type holder. mine still looks brand new after 6 months. And it was only 12 euro.
