If you are not running a certain model of a Siemen's SCADA with a particular modular installed and have an Israeli IP then you have nothing to worry about.....

Sky blew it way out of proportion. Its hard coded to fook specific firmware and devices.

It being sold on the black market is probably only as a curiosity.

The end of the world is not going to happen just yey.

I heard vague details that it took a team of "hackers" 6 months to write the code.. Who can fund a large team of hackers for that long ? .. Who can benefit from its capability to affect hardware systems..

Without going on a right-wing rant here Israels it defence industry is large with numerous marketplace spin offs directly coming from it.
Lets look at the facts.
As we seen from the Wikileaks episode, NONE of the Gulf countries want a nuclear warhead in Irans arsenal.
Between Israel,Britain and USA they have the potential, you can't argue with that, they have the potential to be create such a virus.

And as we can see they have a vague motive.

A traceless potent virus takes out Irans nuclear stations. No trace. No
casualties. No international outcry.

It doesn't take a genius to put together pieces of a puzzle.

Nobody said it but come on, if it was on the news would you be all that surprised ?

Kevin Mitnick was on C2C AM discussing Wikileaks, and to a lesser extent - Stuxnet the other night. It's a really genius piece of code. The potential damage it could do however is slightly disturbing.
