Wonder if anyone might be able to clarify something for me. My application for a grant was approved by Dublin City Council in early September yet I have yet to start my PhD due to the foot dragging of the institution in question (which I won't name). If I don't manage to start before the new year will the grant be rescinded? Should I be worried etc? (I am!) Obviously further government cuts in education are also a worry. Does anyone on here have any knowledge or experience of a similar situation before I go and contact the city council directly?
