Anyone here still play the GorKamorKa by games workshop ?

Aside from WH Fantasy,i used to play this the whole time with the guys I used to game with.

It was like allot for Games-work shop niche games as in that it was supported for a while then nearly forgotten about.

Teh idea was to make your "mob" of Orks and battle in the wastes over valuable metals, while watching them grow after each battle.

What I remember is the campaign is the most fun I have ever had in miniture gaming.

    all the info is below:

Anyone else still have the rules or interested in a game sometime?

Rules were free to download from GW's site for a while but just realised they have vanished.

Never played it but did play necromunda so the whole setup is quite familiar. With the raft of shiny new Orks over the past few years have always been tempted to find some games somewhere.

Oh I loved GW's skirmish games, pity they were all ditched to make way for ever increasingly larger games of 40k with several dozen €100 tanks a side.

Still got the Gorkamorka poster they gave out in issue 214 of WD on the wall behind me monitor :D

If it was timed well I could hop up on the train for a few games.

Question is what gang to use, have seen house rules for the original 6 Ork clans (Blood Axe, Goff, Snakebite etc) as heard the Gorkas and Morkas get very similar quickly. Though Muties could be nice, and make for some great modelling opportunities.

I'd be interested in playing Gorkamorka. Played a lot of Necromunda back in the day, something I'd love to get back into again too, and I've heard it's got a few similarities.

I'll be around Gamer's World in the New Year so will keep an eye out for this.

Well i will be running it based on whats official, ie gorks, morks, rebel grots, diggas and muties just to keep it simple, if it is popular enough then maybe we can add in some other stuff (possible desert rats if they release their 'ere be stuff' expansion)

Hopefully i will run it in feb, and i have a few guys interested already

Fair enough, if the timing for games is right I can hop up and down on the train for a few games. Probably making a Grot gang, army of small runts FTW.
