Hi, I was in my back garden this morning and i saw what I thought was a satellite, as I watched it changed direction a few times, it didn't turn back on itself or anything just took a right turn and then a left a few times. The strangest part was that it would get really bright sometimes. Is this normal for satellites?

No that was not a satellite. Satellites move in straight lines and do not change directions like that. Sounds like an aircraft, perhaps a helicopter.

It looked like a satellite normally would and traveled most the time like a satellite would, just thought it was odd as I have watched plenty of them travel across the sky. Maybe it was a helicopter I don't know. Thanks anyway
