Theres piles of threads on this even on the first page. But in general if you've made it as far as partner they're probably just checking you over.

Be aware of stuff thats going on at the moment. Know why you want to work in the field you've chosen and why you want to work for the company.

For my partner interviews it was more of a macro look at you rather than specifics of how you dealt with team situations etc. They like to get an overview, so where you see your career progressing and the other stuff I mentioned.

    Good luck with it!

Might depend on the size of the practice... One of the criteria I know for a fairly large practice would be the ability to bring in new clients.

    Have you experience of this?

    I'm guessing it's an interview a partner for a Big4 grad position.

you'll be fine. the partner isn't necessarily any meaner or tougher. it comes down to the personality of the interviewer. they could ask you tough industry related questions, but i get the impression that partners are usually so busy they have a few answers they want and leave it at that!

Just keep is short and simple...no waffle! and you'll do fine! you made it this far didnt you! what company and what positon is it?

I'm waiting 2 weeks now to hear back. had a bit of a rotten partner interview, some tough q's... think I still did... OK, but not great.

Rang them last Fri and they said that there's still a good few people waiting to hear back.

Last few offers going out Mon . Guess all I can do is pray and hope at this stage!

Hi Ted, Do you remember your interviewer's name?
I think probably we had same interviewer, because I felt my experience was pretty similar with you, but I didn't heard anything so far.
Hope we all can get the good news soon.
