There are a few stone chips on my bodywork which I would like to get rid of.

Anyone tried a crowd called 'Chips Away'- they seem to specialise in this type of work....

Also, has anyone used 'Dr Colorchip'- it's a product from the States which allows you to repair the bodywork yourself. The results look impressive, although maybe it looks better in a photo than it would in real life.

Usually I would have little or no time for these US wonder products, but the video's look fairly impressive.

They seem to use it on fairly flat non metallic paint finishes,so I wonder how it would fair on metallic or even pearlescent finishes.

I have one of the kits but haven't used it yet.

One of the lads on BMW-Driver used it and was impressed with the results.

What does the repair look like in reality? Is it noticeable where the stone chips were touched in?

Some of them are obviously going to be noticeable if they're too deep.

I used them years ago - not fantastic, they just stuck blobs of paint in the chips.
