I know ladies that most women want an answer to this question but has anybody out there any handy hints as to how to reduce cellulite. I am not foolish enough to think it can be gotten rid of completely but to reduce it would be helpful. Did anybody ever have laser treatment etc and if so was it successful? Not at all interested in surgery. I eat very well, drink only green tea, exercise all the time - though the last few months only walking and weights due to a gym injury couldn't run or do squats and I think maybe that is the problem. I have had cellulite from an early age but it is worse than ever and really annoying me. If I didn't exercise, eat junk food, and drank a lot I could understand but I don't. If there are any exercises in particular please let me know. By the way I don't want any suggestions regarding creams because I know I would be better off putting butter on my legs as creams are useless. Would be interested in Detox products ONLY IF THEY WORK.......

Mods, bounced this from TLL as thought would be better suited however upon reflection looks as if OP is requesting any exercises that might assist in reduction of cellulite so might be better suited to Fitness?

Apologies guys, will leave it up to you.

Hey, I find dry brushing great, I've tried a bunch of creams such as 'goodbye cellulite, boots own brand etc' but there is only so temporary effects. Obviously good nutrition, plenty of water and exercise really help as you have done this I recommend buying a dry brush, I bought one in Boots.
They also have them in the body shop, they are a bit pricey but last so long overall they make sense.
Massage in the shower starting feet up in a circular motion, around the calves, thighs, bum, lower back right round to your abdomen where you start at the lower right corner and brush in a circle around the bellybutton to help digestion.
I stay away from the chest area as it is so delicate but it is generally advised to brush upwards towards the heart. This is the only thing that's worked for me, stick with it as it took me a few months before I realised 'hey I have no cellulite!'

    1- diet
2 -exercise in fitness club (3 days /week)
    3- Anti-Cellulite GUA-SHA Massage
This (1,2,3) together and I guaranteed results.

Anti-Cellulite GUA-SHA massage with a Chinese cupping glass cup is a variety of vacuum therapy and the reverse of pressure therapy. Generating underpressure in the inside of the cup and sucking in the skin and the subcutaneous layer into its interior is how it works. Massage additionally is supporting slimming, firming the body, moreover it is altering positively the circulation of blood and lymphs. It helps to clean the organism of toxins and liquids as well as is eliminating swellings. It provides strong draining effect what causes that it combats the cellulite sensationally.

    I hope that I help :)

Hey there. Cellulite is a disorder of the connective tissue, so its never going to be fully got rid of but --

1 - Drink a lot of water, this will help flush out toxins. Cellulite is made up of toxins.
2 - Exercise and good nutrition.
3 - Galvanic Body treatments - Iontopheresis. Its basically a treatment that uses a current to repel products that will help disperse the cellulite.
4 - Petrisage movements during a massage will help aid the dispersal of the cellulite, but is not effective used alone. It must be combined with healthy diet, regular exercise, ect.
5 - Vacuum Suction treatments alone or after a galvanic treatment.

You should be definately be using a dry body brush, and using an anti-cellulite lotion which will help improve the appearance of it.

I have a small bit on my upper thighs but after I started swimming I don't even notice it, whenever I wore shorts or mini skirts I used to see it but when I switched my diet and exercised more I did see a huge difference but the best thing I found was the swimming :)

Ugh i hate mine, horrible to look at...good thing its on my bum and back of upper legs so i dont have to look at it :) but i'm trying to get rid of it for sake of all those who have to see me in my bikini

I'm a size 8-10 and dont need to lose weight. About 3 months ago i started drinking much more water than I used to (i definitely wasnt drinking enough), my diet has improved, not eating as much crap etc. About 3 weeks ago i started jogging about 3 times a week, I walk for about an hour 5 days a week (half an hour each way walking to and from work). Aaaanyway, so far I cant see any difference in my cellulite...i know not to expect miracles straight away but i'm going on holidays in 2 months and I was just wondering how long until people started seeing a difference and is there any more I could be doing?

a friend of mine noticed a significant improvement after following this regime (shes about 5'10 and size 10. no weight loss required!)
about a month before going on hols she started a detox diet, drinking lots of water, cutting out processed foods(sweets/cakes/chocolate/crisps/ takeaway etc) caffeine, fizzy drinks etc. apparently the fizzy drinks is a major thing. Also she made a smoothie once a day from a pineapple. the most important bit was to make sure that it was the pithy core of the pineapple that was juiced, you could do the whole thing if you wanted but the main thing is to get the core. she also massaged the affected areas daily, quite hard.
    she swears it worked wonders!

I'm a 6-8 and I have it on the back of my upper thigh, slighly, but its there! Its really got nothing to do with being heavy (although obviously youre going to more prone to it, it is hard fat) but its a disorder of the connective tissue.

If you try dry body brushing, self massage, and use an anti cellulite gel it should help alleviate the appearance but unfortunately I don't think anything gets rid completely.

Its important to drink as much water as you actually can. Eat healthy, and even take horse chestnut supplements, as it will help improve circulation and theres usually poor circulation in areas affected with cellulite.

Exercise and the above tips with help - no doubt. But there is NOTHING in this whole world that will guarentee to rid you of cellulite. It can only help reduce the appearance.
