Hi, I have a Sony 40EX503 and I recently connected it to the internet. Now I know the line-up of items on the portal would vary from country to country. But does anyone know if you can get Facebook/Twitter in Ireland. I might be looking in the wrong place. It would be nice if they put the RTE player on it, like the BBC

it will probably be on Bravia internet video soon as it has just been ported to the PS3 which is more or less the same Sony menu etc

I have the same TV myself. (Quality is amazing!)

Do updates go through automatically or is there somewhere to check for updates?

Can you get BBC iPlayer on Sony Internet TV in Ireland? Don't suppose there are any plans to put RTE player on it?

Just got a Bravia and well impressed with it. Twitter and facebook are in Applications menu, not internet video.

No RTE player but there is TV3 player which i think is very good. No iPlayer.

The Home/Applications section has Skype & web browser,
and the Home/Widgets section has Facebook & Twitter. :)

    Hi,

I just got this TV and when I connect a usb drive and play, it only plays it half screen. When I checked manual it said it was due to the resolution size of file, but I have played these same files on several different media players and they played full screen size - on bigger TVs and in HD. Am I doing something wrong, any suggestions?
