    Like any wine, on its side in a dark place with a consistent, cool temperature.
    I keep my wine under the stairs.

    Cristal is vintage Champagne, not NV as said above.

    When Champagne is released, it is released "ready to drink".
    There is no great benefit to be had from keeping it for very long in my estimation, and in fact more than likely your cellaring condition will be less than ideal, so there is more a chance of damaging the wine.

    Absolute max I'd say is 10 years. But probably not likely to last till then without great care.
