He maybe a cheerleader for the right in the UK but at least he calls a spade a spade as far as the crisis is concerned. The usual sneering crowd look rather glum today and can't wait for their coffee break.

Sounds like we need him here leading us. At least he has the balls to say what he thinks.

I think this is the wrong thread for this video, people need to hear and see this, he speaks a lot of truth and the look on the other m.e.p's faces says a lot too...

If one of the mods wants to move it to some section with more clicks then no problem. But if Nigel Farage or someone of his calibre was in negotiating for us with the EU/IMF it is a foregone conclusion he would get a debt rate of 1.5%. At present our politicans are acquiescing and with subservience are looking like securing a rate of 6%.

All Farage would do is say "you've 30 minutes to give us 1.5% or we default, throw us out of the Euro and the whole project collapses". Within 20 mins sullen faced Herman Van Rompuy would accept, on any terms probably.

Now is not the time for our politicians to be statesmen and grown up but instead to play dirty in the interests of its citizens. Ireland holds all the aces in this game of poker. European banks have €800bn exposure to Irish loans whilst Ireland has €1bn exposure to Europe (outside UK).
